Best Male Impotence Treatment
Sexual health is a fundamental thing that adds much happiness in the life of an personality but many men are suffering from a serious sexual health problem called impotence which is medically known as erectile dysfunction (ED), and are depressed, frustrated, lack social involvement .
ED is a medical condition and not just a progression of ageing. It is not that only the older people face ED but the research studies found that 40% of men face this problem at some point of their lives. Those men are said to be impotent who are unable to get an erection when they are sexually active. Timely attention must to paid to treat it; otherwise it can lead to the condition like low self-esteem, sexual failure anxiety, and depression, stress and guilt and relationship conflicts.
The treatment of Erectile Dysfunction, best ever marketed anti-ED drug was Cialis and before evolved products are Levitra and Viagra. At present, there is a higher competition among Levitra and Cialis since latter product seems more targeted than Cialis. But, being the emperor anti-ED medicine, Cialis has gained more popularity and is effectively on use for the treatment of ED.
Cialis, better known as the Tadalafil, is an oral prescription medicine and is available in different dosage. The mostly recommended dose is 50mg, but some men may need the dose of 100mg, but it advised to consult your medical condition thoroughly to your doctor before taking Cialis at your own. It helps the smooth muscles in the penis to get relaxed and widen, and that allows more blood to flow to the penis resulting in faster and easier erection.

I had 14 weight/health-oriented newsletters in my inbox this morning. (Subscribe to one or two lists and they will multiply — the rabbits of the Internet!)
Several contained testimonials from rabid fans of their particular diet program. Five contained before-and-after pictures or verbal descriptions.
What fabulous results! I’ve got to try this!
Wait, what are all those asterisks?
Ah, the phrase that turns the blood of the most motivated desperate dieter to ice: “Results not typical.”
Now what exactly does that mean? Did they specifically select the greatest outlier to mislead us about results? Is it only the freaks who are willing to rave about the program? Does the plan only work for certain people? Should I assume that I, too, will reach the dizzying heights of the featured role model?
Lose the hype, please. Talk to me as if I’m intelligent as well as overweight. Being fat does not equate with being stupid!
Show me “typical” results and I’ll assess your program with honesty and respect. If most folks lose 5 pounds, publicize that. If not, all those unhappy overwieghters who sign up for your diet will expect to lose the poundage of your featured dieter.
The last thing the desperate, guilt-ridden, and self-critical dieters of the world need is to be misled into unreal expectations. That direction will only result in a magnified loss of self-esteem and self-respect. Your marketing misinformation is psychologically destructive and emotionally devasting.
E-Diets, Atkins, Zone, South Beach — Shame on you!

Obesity rates in the United States have been steadily on the rise since the 1970’s. It is estimated that 65% of Americans are overweight, and 25% are obese. Not only are the rates on the rise in the United States, but all over the world many people are becoming overweight and suffering from obesity.
The rise in obesity is due to many factors, including unhealthy eating, increased caloric intake, less physical activity and sedentary lifestyles. With the rise in obesity rates, weight loss tactics have become very common. Diets such as the Atkins Diet and the South Beach Diet are popular diets that limit the types of food an individual can eat. Diets promoting pills, shakes and herbal remedies are also popular. Most of these dieting techniques claim fast results. Although a person may lose weight quickly with any one of these weight loss diets, statistics show that people quickly regain any weight lost with these methods.
For extremely overweight individuals, weight loss surgery may be a viable option. There are a number of weight loss surgeries available, including the gastric bypass surgery, sleeve gastrectomy surgery and lap band procedure. Weight loss surgeries are popular for obese Americans, and many go to Mexico to get these procedures done. Weight loss surgery in Mexico is cheaper than the same surgery performed in the United States, but the quality is of equal level. For this reason, weight loss surgery in Mexico is gaining popularity as an option for obese Americans.

The weight loss industry is a multi-billion dollar industry filled with meal plans that provide very low calorie levels. This is the magic bullet because if you follow these meal plans closely you will absolutely lose weight. You’re happy and the company can say they gave you what they promised. Physiologically we know that very low calorie diets work for short term weight loss but the question is what are we doing to ourselves in the long run?
The fact is; very low calorie diets (1,000 - 1200 calories or less) are contributing to weight gain more than they are helping people to find lasting weight loss. Many people feel they have to go on a very low calorie diet because this is the only way their weight will budge. Well…they’re right and this is why.
When a person goes on a very low calorie diet they are putting themselves into starvation mode. If they lose more than two pounds per week they can end up losing muscle mass which will negatively affect their metabolism. This is a topic that is worth spending a minute on. Let’s look at what happened to Sally when she lost more than 2 pounds per week. It may be all too familiar to you!
Sally’s Story:
Sally’s resting metabolic rate (how many calories she burns) was 2500 calories per day. This means she was consuming around 2500 calories each day to maintain her weight where it was. She decided to lose weight by going on a “diet”. The diet program estimated her calories at 1000-1200. She lost 10 pounds in two weeks. She is of course very happy about this weight loss. This is success! What she doesn’t know is that part of that rapid weight loss is not fat but muscle. Sally then gets bored on this diet after the first month, which is typical, and goes back to her old eating habits.
What happened to Sally’s body during this diet?
She lost lean body mass along with body fat. Muscle is the most important factor in keeping your metabolic rate high. One pound of muscle burns 30-70 calories while one pound of fat burns around 0-10 calories. During her weight loss in the last month Sally lost approximately 6 pounds of muscle mass (lean body mass).
Sally’s metabolic rate used to be 2500 calories for her weight to stay stable and now it has decreased to approximately 2100 calories. Now when she goes back to her old eating habits which were landing her on an average of 2500 calories in per day, she will gain her old weight back plus more.
What do you think will happen when she goes on the next low calorie diet? What will happen after 4-5 weight loss diets? You guessed it! She will continue to decrease her metabolic rate. This is why so many people feel that they don’t eat that much but still gain weight. It’s true! To add insult to injury, there are also studies that suggest when people go back to their original eating habits they gain fat tissue rapidly instead of lean body mass.
Don’t despair dieters! There are steps you can take to get your metabolism fired up again but the first step is to stop low calorie diets. The next time you see a program that tries to estimate your calorie level by height, weight, and age; don’t do it! This method is almost never accurate because they aren’t taking into account your health history, genetics, age and all the other multitude of things that make up your individual metabolism. Remember, they want you to lose weight fast so you are satisfied with their product or service so they will give you the lowest calorie level.
The only way to truly know how many calories you burn is to get your metabolism tested with a breathing test. These tests are now made affordable and can be done for $50-$125. To find someone in your area that provides these tests go to www.healthetech.com. Otherwise do not trust estimates from scales or calculations. They almost always under estimate your calorie level which will do you more harm than good.

We are bombarded by the mainstream media and advertisements of slim models and actresses with sexy bodies. Normally such models and actresses are in their teens or early twenties when they still have high metabolic rates to used up extra food digested in the stomach. Basically, they continue eating as per normal while possessing those slim healthy bodies. People normally put on weight in their early thirties and beyond due to metabolic syndrome where excess food is not burnt up so effectively and hence stored as fat in their bodies. One way to lose weight marginally is to go for gastric band surgery of the stomach.
In early 1985, Dr. Dag Hallberg applied for a patent for the Swedish Adjustable Gastric Band (SAGB) within Scandinavian countries. In late March, Dr. Hallberg presented his idea of the “balloon band” at the Swedish Surgical Society and started to use the SAGB in a controlled series of 50 procedures. During this time, laparoscopic surgery was not common and Dr. Hallberg and his assistant, Dr. Peter Forsell, started performing the open technique to implant the SAGB.
In 1992, Dr. Forsell was in contact with different surgeons in Switzerland, Italy and Germany who began to implant the SAGB with the laparoscopic technique. Dr. Forsell fully owned the patent at this time. In 1994, Dr. Forsell presented the SAGB at an international workshop for bariatric surgery in Sweden, and from then on, the SAGB started to be implanted laparoscopically. During this time, the SAGB was manufactured by a Swedish company, ATOS Medical.
In general, gastric banding is indicated for people for whom all of the following apply: Body Mass Index above 40, or those who are 100 pounds (45 kg) or more over their estimated ideal weight or those between 30 to 40 with co-morbidities which may improve with weight loss (high blood pressure, diabetes, sleep apnea, and arthritis). Patients that quality for gastric banding are of the ages between 18 and 55 years (although there are doctors who will work outside these ages, some as young as 12).

People used to question the nutritional effects of barbecuing because they were concerned about the fat content of traditional barbecue fare like hot dogs and hamburgers. That concern is valid, but it’s easily avoided by substituting skinless chicken and fish.
Unfortunately, researchers say there is still another concern about the health impact of barbecuing any animal meats; when they are cooked in the intense heat of the barbecue, substances are formed that have been clearly shown to be carcinogens (substances that can start the development of cancer). And these substances develop regardless of whether low-fat or high-fat, red meat or white meat is on the grill.
In a landmark report on diet and cancer risk, the American Institute for Cancer Research (AICR) notes that as meat - red or white - is cooked, natural substances that it contains react under intense heat to form compounds called heterocyclic amines (HCAs) that have been linked with increased cancer risk in some animal studies. The longer the cooking time and higher the temperature, the more these carcinogenic substances formed.
Studies in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute have shown that people who frequently eat heavily browned or very well done meat are three to five times more likely to develop breast, colon and stomach cancer than those who eat it less often. Studies of rodents demonstrated that these HCAs are distributed to mammary (breast) tissue and cause changes in a cell’s genetic material. However, we don’t have proof that this process occurs in people.
Does this mean that if you care about your health you must banish the grill? Not necessarily. Researchers note that how people barbecue affects the risks. For example, marinating meat or poultry even briefly before cooking reduces the amount of HCAs formed by about 96 percent. Partially pre-cooking meat for two minutes in the microwave just before grilling prevents 90 percent of the HCAs normally formed.
Avoid the black char that often forms during grilling, since it is particularly concentrated in cancer-causing substances. Other carcinogens of concern come from the smoke. You can limit the meat’s contact with smoke and decrease this risk if you raise the grill a little higher from the heat and choose leaner meats and trim all visible fat so it can’t drip and cause smoking. Placing food in a foil packet also prevents smoking.
The rest of your meal can reduce the risks of grilling as well. Antioxidant vitamins and phytochemicals in fruits, vegetables and soy foods seem to block some of the damage HCAs do to cells. Studies from Oregon State University demonstrate that substances in tea increase the body’s ability to detoxify and excrete HCA before they do their damage.
Look at the overall balance of your meal. AICR recommends that at any meal, animal protein like meat, poultry and seafood should occupy no more than a third of your plate. And that’s especially true when it’s grilled. By limiting your meat portion, you limit your exposure to HCAs and other carcinogens. And by enjoying a healthy portion of fruits, vegetables and whole grains, you get loads of cancer-fighting, health-promoting nutrients and phytochemicals. If you want to grill some of these veggies, that’s no problem, since the HCA reaction occurs only in foods with animal protein.

Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) is a condition that is usually characterized by behavioral and learning disorders. ADD generally diagnosed in children, mostly affects the boys than the girls. ADD not only occurs in childhood but also continues till adulthood in some cases.
Some of the characteristics that are commonly cited among the children with ADD are hyperactivity, distractibility and impulsivity. ADD results in children finding it difficult to perform a task assigned to them and focus on some of the important aspects of conversations. In addition, the children are not able to complete their tasks as they rapidly move from one activity to another frequently or due to the distractions caused by external stimuli.
ADD is a neurobiologically-based developmental disability that usually affects children. The actual cause of ADD is unknown till date. Research has shown that ADD is caused due to the genetic transmission of the condition from the parents to the children and also can be due to the result of a chemical imbalance or deficiency of certain neurotransmitters.
The neurotransmitters are chemicals that help the brain regulate the behavior of an individual. A recent study has shown that the rate at which the brain uses glucose, its main energy source, is lower in individuals suffering from ADD than in individuals without ADD.
The important features associated with ADD are inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity. Some of the symptoms due to inattention include making careless mistakes in schoolwork, work, or other activities, facing difficulty sustaining attention in tasks or play activities, not listening when spoken to directly, facing difficulty in organizing tasks and activities, and mostly forgetful in daily activities.
Some of the symptoms due to hyperactivity include fidgets with hands or feet or squirms in seat, running about or climbing excessively in situations in which it is inappropriate, facing difficulty playing or engaging in leisure activities quietly, and talking excessively. Some of the symptoms due to impulsivity include blurting out answers before questions have been completed, facing difficulty in awaiting their turn, and interrupting in a conversation.

With its alien-looking flowers, egg-shaped fruit and wandering tendrils, passionflower is one of the most unusual plants you’ll ever come across in the U.S. Known botanically as Passiflora incarnata, passionflower is native to the southeast and mid-south regions of the United States. This climbing vine that so entranced Spanish missionaries in the 1600s can grow 30 feet long, inhabiting fence rows, woodlands and backyards alike.
Traditional Medical Uses for Passionflower
Native Americans crushed passionflower’s lobed leaves and applied them directly to the skin to ease bruises, cuts and other wounds. Infusions made from the leaves were used to treat ear infections, strengthen the blood and relieve stress. And until 1978, when the FDA pulled its support of the herb, it was included in many over-the-counter sleep aids.
Passionflower Today
In 1978, the FDA re-classified passionflower as a Class II herb, citing a lack of substantiated evidence that passionflower was effective as a sedative. But passionflower is still widely used in Europe where passionflower extract is frequently combined with extracts of other natural sedatives like valerian, chamomile and lemon balm.
Today’s herbalists use passionflower as a digestive aid, as a stress-reducer and as an insomnia treatment. Passionflower can be used fresh but it’s more frequently dried for use in pills, teas and extractions like tinctures and infusions.
Current Research
Though passionflower is widely used, it’s not been widely studied. But the few studies that have been done are encouraging. A European study of people with generalized anxiety disorder found that passionflower was as effective as prescription medications as relieving anxiety.
And another study looking at treatments for congestive heart failure found that an extract of hawthorn and passionflower improved symptoms like shortness of breath.
Other unproven uses for passionflower include opiate detoxification, ADHD and seizures.

Malignant mesotheliomas are highly aggressive cancers, usually linked to asbestos exposure. Most patients survive approximately one year after diagnosis, and only seven percent of patients make it past five years. If not diagnosed early, these cancers are extremely difficult to treat. However, early diagnosis is a challenge because patients may be unaware of previous asbestos exposure or present with non-specific symptoms.
Research is currently underway to better understand how these cancers develop, and how to improve survival. The American Cancer Society and National Cancer Institute are good resources for information on ongoing clinical trials and enrollment criteria. Treatment options being researched can broadly be classified into radiotherapy, light or photodynamic therapy, drug or chemotherapy, biotherapy and immunotherapy. While radiotherapy is palliative in chest pain and chest wall spread, it has no effect on survival. Photodynamic therapy is being evaluated for earlier stages of malignant pleural mesothelioma; it combines the injection of a drug that makes cancer cells sensitive to light with the use of light of a certain wavelength to kill these cells.
A promising clinical trial showed patients with advanced malignant mesothelioma lived for nearly three months longer than a comparison group when treated with a drug combination of Alimta and cisplatin. The University of Chicago’s Cancer Research Center is leading a trial that combines the anti-cancer drugs gemcitabine and cisplatin, which kill cancer cells, with the biological agent bevacizumab, which slows the growth of cancerous tissue and blood vessels in this tissue. Researchers at the National Cancer Institute have identified a protein called mesothelin that is present in higher levels in mesothelioma cancer cells than in surrounding normal tissue. This knowledge is being used in ongoing clinical trials of vaccines that could kill cancer cells by triggering an anti-mesothelin immune response, and is also being used to develop diagnostic tests to detect rising mesothelin levels in people with malignant mesothelioma.
Malignant Mesothelioma provides detailed information about malignant mesothelioma, diffuse malignant pleural mesothelioma, malignant mesothelioma diagnosis, malignant mesothelioma lawyer and more. Malignant Mesothelioma is the sister site of Peritoneal Mesothelioma Lawyers.

Dr. Hulda R. Clark has done a very unusual thing with her invention for the zapper. She has given it away! You can get the plans and instructions on how to build it and use it for under $60.00. It’s in her book the Cure For All Diseases.
Dr. Hulda Clark, author of The Cure for All Cancers, and The Cure For All Diseases, and many other books is a physiologist, cancer researcher, naturopath and amateur ham radio enthusiast. Her varied interests led her to some very unique research in the area of disease and health. She has been involved in extensive research with herbal treatments, creating a very effective herbal kidney cleanse that eliminates eight different kinds of kidney stones and a liver cleanse that only requies a couple of days to do and effectively eliminates gall stones and allergies, excess weight, low back and shoulder pain, tennis elbow and other liver ailments.
In the process of Dr. Clark’s research she developed an electronic resonant testing machine called a Syncrometer. This machine is used to test for the existence of any substance in the body. It works by placing a sample of the substance on one plate, and checking for resonance in the body when the plate is electrically connected to the substance.
With this machine, the synchrometer, one can scan for various substances. What was interesting about her results was that she kept finding the same substances in clients with similar diseases. For example, Dr. Hulda Clark found isopropyl alcohol and the intestinal fluke in all of her clients with Cancer. In diabetics, Dr. Clark found the cattle pancreatic fluke in the pancreas and the presence of wood alcohol. Dr. Clark repeatedly found the presence of benzene and the intestinal fluke in the thymus with clients reported to have AIDS.
The more research she did, the clearer the relationship between parasites and disease became. This relationship is evident in, acne, ALS, arthritis, asthma, chronic fatigue, colitis, Crohn’s disease, eczema, endometriosis, heart disease, multiple sclerosis, psoriasis, seizures, herpes and more.
At first, Hulda worked with specific frequencies to eliminate each parasite individually. This process of jumping from one frequency to the next was difficult and time consuming. So, Dr. Clark and her son Geoff while working to develop a machine that would eliminate the Human Intestinal Fluke parasite quickly and painlessly discovered a frequency generation device that seemed to eliminate virtually every other parasite, virus, bacteria, mold, and fungi after only 7 minutes. This is the Zapper. Dr. Clark found that this divise eliminated all of these invading organisms at the same time, independent of the parasite’s specific frequency while not adversely affecting adults, children or pets she tested.
It is her son Geoff, who used his technical abilities to design and build a hand-held, battery-operated model of the powerful frequency generator. You can see this and more information by going to www.drclarkuniversity.org or www.drhuldaclark.org
Hulda Clark continues her Synchrometer research, traveling around the world giving lectures and demonstrations, and has recently published numerous additional books all of which can be found at www.drclarkuniversity.org
Michele Michaels has been active in raising awareness for alternative and natural methods of curing and treating all manner of illnesses.
