Solar energy is completely free of cost and can be used by any person. God has given natural sources like the sunlight, wind and water for the benefit of human beings. Now it’s up to them o they use these sources. For this reason the solar powered cars have been invented. The combination of natural resource and man made technology has led us to a transportation vehicle that is effective, cheap, easy to build and most importantly environmental friendly.
Solar cars work on a very simple function, they use solar arrays to catch sunlight, convert them in to electric energy that in return runs the car. Some solar cars made today come equipped with batteries which also store energy that helps you to run you car during night and cloudy days. These solar powered cars with the new technology are the electric car and the hybrid car which are making a lot of noise in the car industry these days, especially with rising oil prices. You could really enjoy this kind of new generation car, with its very quite engine and its green attitude the car makers are geared towards a better driving experienced as well as lower oil consumption.

Reading auto insurance policies can be like trying to decipher
advanced calculus. It’s really not that difficult if you
understand a few basic terms. Collision, Comprehensive, Bodily
Injury Liability and Property Injury Liability are the main
terms you need to fully understand.
You’ll appreciate Collision Coverage in the event you need
repairs or replacements if your vehicle collides with another
vehicle or property. The higher the deductible you elect, the
lower your premiums will cost you. If you’re at fault for
something, well of course it would still be an accident, as I
doubt you’d plan to run into that guard rail, but how much would
you be able to afford to pay out of pocket for repairs? $250?
$500? $1,000? Just like medical insurance, you’d have to pay
that deductible amount first and then the insurance company
would pay for the remaining charges for the repair.
Another term to become intimately familiar with is Comprehensive
Coverage. This is the coverage that pays for damage caused from
falling objects, fire, certain natural disasters, theft and
vandalism. Deductibles work the same way as with Collision; the
more out of pocket costs to you, the less your insurance
premium.
In addition to knowing how much Collision and Comprehensive
coverage you have, you’ll want to know about your liability
coverage. Let’s say you rear-end another driver. Or your foot
slips off the brake onto the gas pedal and you plow down a
mailbox. Your liability coverage will kick in and pay for the
damages that you caused with your insured vehicle. You liability
coverage will, or could, include bodily injury (people) and
property damage.
You don’t want to go without Bodily Injury Coverage. If you were
at fault in an accident and others involved needed to go to the
hospital and/or lost wages from missing work, those costs would
come out of your pocket if you are not insured with Bodily
Injury Coverage. It doesn’t take a genius to know how quickly
those amounts can add up. This type of coverage can also help
you in the event the other party takes legal action against you.
Many states require you to carry Bodily Injury Coverage.
The other part of liability includes Property Damage coverage.
Can you imagine how much it might cost should you accidentally
drive into the side of someone’s home? You wouldn’t want to be
caught without property damage insurance should you need to pay
for repairs to another vehicle, building or anything else you
might hit. As with Bodily Injury coverage, Property Damage
coverage also helps protect you in the event of a related
lawsuit.
Every policy will have its limits and various degrees of
coverage. It’s important that you understand the basics of what
you are paying for and why it is necessary. No one plans for an
accident, be prepared!

When you think of automobile news, you may not expect to read about a renowned artist. However, a recent automobile news release contained just that. An artist, his talent and an innovative company looking to change the way you look at windshields is the current focus of much media attention and automobile news.
In an automotive news announcement made, Window Canvas, the leader in Exterior Applied See-Thru Window Graphics for cars, trucks and SUVs, confirmed an agreement with well-known artist Jeff Wilkie. The exclusive contract was signed with Persistence of Vision, which gave Window Canvas the license to represent the art of Jeff Wilkie on their vehicle graphics.
If you have ever noticed a rear windshield with an impressive, and colorful, image covering the entire back glass, then you are already familiar with the concept of transparent window graphics. They prevent viewing the interior from the rear, but allow the passengers and driver to see out. Window graphics are often quite detailed and beautiful, which is the concept behind Windows Canvas and their new artwork license with Jeff Wilkie.
“Jeff’s breathtaking artwork is the perfect addition to Window Canvas and our image library,” commented Bianca J. Hennings, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Window Canvas. According to the recent automobile news release, Hennings concluded, “We are very excited about his imagery being displayed on people’s cars all over the country and even the world.”
Jeff Wilkie is an accomplished artist whose collections include both ocean and marine life images. Among the many depictions, Wilkie portrays an artistic image of dolphins, seascapes, whales and other wildlife. “I am very happy to have my artwork added to their line of products,” Jeff admits. His work has been licensed for a variety of products, including greeting cards, puzzles, t-shirts and computer mouse pads. To add even more credence to Wilkie’s art, his images have been offered as part of the fine art prize category on “The Price Is Right” televised game show. The products featuring Wilkie’s art are constantly ranked number one in sales. Beginning in the spring of 2006, his art will also be featured on checks, checkbook covers, address labels and wall murals throughout the United States.
Window Canvas is the recognized leader in exterior applied see-thru window graphics for automobiles. Their website features more than 2,000 images, including patriotic, flags, sports, personal expressions, nature, military and camouflage scenes. In addition to their many options, Window Canvas also offers website visitors with an opportunity to customize their own rear window graphics using a patent pending technology feature called “Create Your Own.”
An artist who loves to create images and a company who loves to incorporate them into windows have come together to generate widespread automobile news attention. Websites and various industry publications are sure to be among the first to report automobile news and especially when it’s as beautiful as Wilkie’s artwork.

The truck washing industry has come a long way in the last couple of decades and most people in the industry have seen the changes and not really thought much about them. For instance we are starting to see the first really capable automatic truck washes. Years the prior many municipalities, tour bus companies and large trucking companies began purchasing automatic drive thru truck washes and perhaps you are familiar with one of the more popular brand names of these RYCO. Recently some interested in perhaps purchasing such a unit asks;
“How do you feel about the totally automated truck wash systems? More over how do truckers feel?”
From an efficiency standpoint I like them, although under whelmed by some of the systems, especially cleaning tractors with all the mirrors, chrome, between tanks, around the stacks, etc. Not so good for that even this new Belanger V-Max System, yes, it looks cool, good for squares like box trailers, Greyhound Bus and such, for cleaning a polished out Peterbuilt? No, you will not be happy with the results, but it does cut the total time down to under 12 minutes, then you could hand brush the rest and finish er’ off to getr’ done.
My thoughts are I more like the InterClean system, mostly because I think the owner is a straight shooter, not very salesy. He seems to be a lot less BS and lot more Texas style cattle owner without the 10-gallon Stetson with pink silk inlay and fancy fake diamonds.
I just get so tired of the BS in the industry sometimes. I think those folks need some serious talking to really. But I tend to like a couple of the newer systems. The big question is can you get the long-haul independents to drive their pride and joy thru it? Interesting topic indeed, consider this in 2006.
