The 2010 World Cup draw was on the 4th December in Cape Town. The fate of the various countries was decided by sporting greats from around the world. Among them was possibly the most famous footballer in the world at the moment, David Beckham. Thousands of fans will now be able to secure their world cup packages to be at the World Cup.The first match of the World Cup will be the Group A match between South Africa and Mexico in Johannesburg at 16:00. The two other sides in Group A are Uruguay and France. Group B is made up Argentina, Nigeria, Greece and Korea Republic, Argentina will be favourites to win this group despite almost failing to qualify for the finals. England and USA were drawn in the same group and will battle it out at the Royal Bafokeng stadium in Rustenburg. There will be lots of fans booking their England world cup packages to hopefully see their country make it through the group stages. Slovenia and Algeria are the two other teams in Group C. Germany, Australia, Ghana and Serbia are the countries that make up Group D, the Germans will be looking to top this game, however as everyone knows there are no easy games at the World Cup. The first match in Group E is between the Netherlands and Denmark in the Soccer City Stadium in Joannesbury. Japan and Cameroon, the other two teams play in Bloemfontein at the Free State stadium for their first game. The current World Champions, Italy, start their defence of the world cup against Paraguay. They will then take on New Zealand and Slovakia.One of the favourites for the title this time round Brazil have be drawn against Portugal, Korea DPR and the Ivory Coast in Group G. Brazil are considered by many as the best team in the world due to the great players they have, such Kaka and Ronaldinho.The current European champions, Spain, will take on Honduras, Switzerland and Chile in Group H.There a many different travel companies offering world cup packages for the different stages of the World Cup.
