It’s a given I’m not a spineless laid back bachelor, habitually interested in going without a date every weekend. I’d wager you guys haven’t seen me talk much on great dating and relationships. There’s a reason for that.
Helplessness is an avoidable human characteristic and entirely absent from my genetics. But I do have a tender heart. There’s no point avoiding it, I had to end a special cohabitation and I felt a great deal for but just deadended for both of us. Therefore somone could say its been a good since I dated someone new. I don’t have the dating with great expectations I held years ago.
I’m not used to being single. It’s a given that I won’t be reduced to stay in faithfully watching Jack Bauer (from 24) reruns. The number one factor behind this spell of weekend dating lameness? My coworkers are stiffs, and most ladies I meet at work are taken.
My go-getting college buddy, Brandon, who will never have dating loneliness, informed me he’s currently in a similar place. He linked me to the Great Expectations Dating service. I like chatting up delightful women around my age. Surprise, I got real about my dating life and I’m now a satisfied member.
Be honest, ya can’t feel down due to being alone if ya haven’t tried to meet anyone. As our college basketball coach Terry Jennings repeated to no end with a smile, “If you don’t run you can’t score, shooter.”
Coach was crazy, and a little out of touch. Still, Coach was right in a good old fashioned way. He was likable in all ways. The care-free series of Dallas singles events I just went to might’ve overloaded his mind.
Last night at a Great Expectations happy hour I breezily chatted with a ton of quality and appealing women that meet my expectations. I truthfully had a blast with a few pretty remarkable men and women. Called it a night with a sweet farewell, in addition to the fact that I came across some social networking relationships for my business. Very cool.
Take action. You won’t score if you sit the bench. Take it from me, you might as well have great expectations for your dating life.
