ATT Uverse is the best package out there. Our family was fed up with Time Warner after they cut our programs and the internet was not working for long periods of time. I had heard about ATT Uverse back in May 2007 and decided to delay some time to switch to Att Uverse while they fixed their kinks in Florida.
So the installer finally came at 5:20 PM, about 3 hours late, and he tried hooking the system up but claimed our basement had rodents which it doesn’t. So he said another tech would come the following day.
The next am I could not be there but my pop was andinstaller number 2 could not finish running wires and had my father do it.
After the install disaster I called U-Verse and they gave us $100 dollars off the bill.
The Internet is fast and we are very near to the junction so we can get the highest performance. I can already tell a difference from cable tv the pages. It seem to come up faster and we don’t go down or need to fiddle with the hardware.. On Time Warner we would lose our DNS signal. You also have the option of visiting any Starbucks or ATT Hotspot and use the internet free of charge.
For me this was a huge seller. I’m always on the go so this turned out to be awesome. The tv is cool and I am in love with the DVR. You can tape up to 4 shows at one time during the same time period. We currently have the 200 Channel Package with standard definition channels. We don’t require any more channels currently. Also, If you have an ATT wireless phone you can also hook up your new lists for shows from there. The installation sucked but overall we’ve been happy with ATT Uverse.
