The purpose of having an analytical brain is to use it to think and make a plan before we act.
Acting spontaneously out of fear, revenge, spite, anger and a host of other emotions is a sure-fire way to set yourself up for failure.
If you plan your moves in advance your chances of success are increased. The most successful chess players do this.
By reacting to outside influences you will always be controlled by those influences.
By being pro-active you are dictating the terms. It doesn’t matter what field you are in - business, a personal relationship, sport, a hobby - planning ahead will always bring about better results. But how many people are prepared to devote time and effort to creating a plan and then execute that plan?
So many people drift through life without a plan. They go to work to pay the bills to go to work to pay the bills and so on. Their days are full of routine and they have to act in accordance to the demands of other people. Does that sound like anybody you know?
The happiest people are the ones who do not believe that they even have a job. Sure, they work. However, what they do is so important or entertaining to them that they would do it without being paid. Some people fall into this naturally. Others can plan their way into such a life.
If you are dis-satisfied with where you are or what you are doing then do something about it. Life is very short. Every day is precious. As you get older you will realize this. To be trapped in a situation that is painful to you will cause misery.
It is easy to plan your way into something, or out of something. All you have to do is take a sheet of paper and write at the bottom where you are now and at the top where you want to be. Writing where you want to be at the top of the page is important because it shows ascendancy. In other words, it is at the top of your ladder. To get from where you are you need to climb the ladder.
At various intervals between the bottom and top of that sheet of paper you will mark points that represent significant steps along the journey. It’s much the same as planning a journey to another city. You wouldn’t just get in your car and drive. No. You would get out a map then drive from your current position to the next town, then the next and so on until you eventually got to your destination.
Why should life planning be any different? Without a plan you are doomed to mediocrity or failure. You can plan whatever you want. But it must be on paper. Keeping things in your head will ensure that nothing gets done. On paper, where you can see it makes a plan real.
You can plan anything. Get the paper, get the pen. Think out the plan. Write the plan. Act on it and it will become reality. Millions of people have. Billions of people don’t bother. You can do it. Happy planning.

Mineral nutrition
Searching for mineral nutrition information is much easier today than ever before. I remember when we’d have to search manuals, books and do it at the library and also searching the encyclopedia. Thanks to Senate document 264 the truth finally comes out. Much buried of course as its information doesn’t support the bottom line of retailers. But, to find the truth sometimes takes digging and especially mineral nutrition.
We’ve come to discover that many serious health issues including life threatening can be at the source of lack of minerals in our diet. Most of us haven’t been taught that without these vital nutritional nutrients taking vitamins is useless. Since vitamins are such a large marketing item with plenty of resources we seldom read or see much about anything else.
It is critical to our health to understand that the depleted soils today do not yield its fruits and vegetables with the nutrients they once did years ago. Fast foods haven’t helped either, and now we even read of a national epidemic about overweight child. Our kids are starving from the lack of good nutrition and most of us aren’t doing anything about it.
Research online can be the resource of choice that let’s us do the research work rather easily. Armed with some good up to date education and information goes a long way towards correcting one’s path to optimum health. The responsibility falls on us for self preservation, not the doctors when it’s perhaps too late.
We may also need to adjust our thinking for days of old. Our parents who didn’t have the information available today taught us what they could, but may not in fact be the most effective approach today. When you gather your information you may very well be shocked, so stay open minded and be patient. Correcting the sorry state of affairs with good mineral nutrition isn’t difficult or over expensive.

This is where it all starts Whether the advice is to be taken or
not, businessmen agree that no business has survived
successfully without passion. Passion is an emotional issue.
Businesses likewise and the creation of products that will
sustain the business has to start with what one knows best.
Business styles and approaches are as varied as the number of
businessmen. Each according to techniques dictated by the
circumstances and responses allowing each to make decisions and
deviations. There are however proven methods common to all
businesses and its corresponding creation of products.
Brick by brick. Like all things created the actual work starts
with very careful planning.
Get down and write. Do a blueprint of the product you have in
mind. Getting down to it brings you face to face with your
ideas. What was formerly abstract comes to you alive. Now you
can do additions to it, deductions from it, enhancements, study
it from all possible angles do revisions and alterations or
sometimes do a total rewrite until what previously was an idea
has now taken form.
Take your time and enjoy your plan. Rushing will only create an
undesired result.
Be Specific - Make precision your keyword. Do not forget to
include the following in your list of questions. What is its
purpose? What do you plan to achieve.
Product creation addresses a particular need that may not be in
the market. If a similar product already does, your version
still has to offer something new that will spark interest and
address a particular viable alternative to the existing one. The
more popular the product is already available, the better it
will do for your products introduction into the market and its
eventual acceptance.
Product creation should target a particular segment of the
market. While shotgun approaches can work, it is often best to
identify a product with a smaller segment i.e. what age bracket
do you want to attract, Male or female, what are the
class/status of your targeted customers, what styles, what
components. This will help you stay focused.
Go for the jugular. If you are a shopper you can see that
creating a new product can easily get lost in the jungle of
goods already available. If you visit on line shopping, you may
think that all products available for consumption can already be
there. But the dream nags at you. You know it can be done. So
what are the elements that could increase your products chance
at penetrating the market?
Try niche marketing. Niche marketing is about placing your
product in a special category that addresses a particular
desire. Some strategies that are tested that somehow finds
places in consumers hearts for example, are; low carbohydrates,
low calorie, high protein, sugar free, non fat, energy
releasing, long life, long lasting, value for money and the list
goes on. Niche marketing makes your product extra specific for
people with specific needs.
What’s in a name. The hard part is over. It is now time to give
your product a name. One point to consider though, words elicits
ideas. If one for example mentions a dark cloud coming, an idea
immediately comes to mind of colder fronts or a rain coming or
even a storm. The person does not even have to go outside and
see for himself. The idea is there. On the other hand, take away
the word and immediately, the idea loses its distinction. It
loses identity it becomes nothing.
This is why names are so very important. So are labels. So are
packaging.
Easy to memorize short names does wonders for the product
especially when packaging are appropriately attractive.
Sometimes, no matter what other people say a good and catchy dot
com. attracts traffic to your product as it can enhance its
perceived value.
Say that again. Constant repetition. Top of mind recall. That is
what the battle is all about. This is why marketing firms go to
lengths at spending on advertisements. For many products
however, newsletter and brochures work.
Get out from here. You have it all on the launch pad; you can
almost see it getting off. The channel of distribution has
already been decided, the distribution model pinned down. You
are making your creation available, visible and competitive.
Then you hold your breath. Once the product is introduced,
markets by large reacts. When it does, your sustainability will
largely depend on how your product makes good at delivering what
it has promised.
All you worry now are competitive advantages that you can
sustain.

Just recently, I received an email from one of the twenty
hosting companies that I’m affiliated with and before I even
opened it I knew what it was going to say. Pretty much the same
thing that the last five emails from other hosting companies
have said. “Dear Affiliate, we’re happy to announce that we’ve
included more disk space to our basic hosting plans which now
offer over 20,000 Mb (mega-bytes) of disk/storage space to your
customers.” And the Hosting companies battle on!
Now don’t get me wrong, from a marketing and advertising
viewpoint, offering my customer 20,000 Mb of disk space instead
of 5 or 10 thousand is something that just “sweetens the pot.”
Why not have extra space? Sometimes more is better. But unless
you’re the only person on an island with an internet connection
and a hosting account thats going to be used by a small third
world nation, or unless you’re Ebay (TM), I don’t see where the
average company, even with a website that has 100 or more pages
with many graphics, is even going to come close to using 20,000
Mb of disk/storage space per month.
My modestly small website wbwebhosts dot com has twelve pages
that get a total of around 200 page hits a day. Last time I
checked I was averaging 2 Mb of disk/storage usage per month.
Naturally, I’m sure that if everybody who was hosted with a
certain company was somehow able to use 20,000 Mb of disk each
month, the hosting company would run out of server space.
But thats OK though! Advertising all that storage space is a
“Hook” to lure people in. Nothing wrong with that. As I said
above it’s better to have too much storage space then not
enough. But look for other things that the company offers they
may set them apart from other web hosting services. Is the
set-up and Domain free? Where are there servers located? C-panel
control (very easy control panel for beginners)? Price per
month? Transfer (monthly traffic allowed)?
Well the Host wars will continue! Maybe by this time next year
they’ll be offering 30,000 Mb to attract new customers. To most
unsuspecting people this will seem like a great deal and will be
happy and feel lucky that they have found such a hosting
company. By offering more disk/storage space, the hosting
companies will lure more customers and affiliates, affiliates in
turn will gain more customers and the customers will be happy
with the excess of space. Oh well, as long as everybody is
happy…..
